  1. What is your privacy policy?
    The personal information that you provide Nearly Naked Neckwear (NNN) is not given, sold, or otherwise available to any third parties. It is used solely to contact you regarding your order, and to ship your order.
  2. What methods of payment do you accept?
    Payment methods currently accepted are PayPal, Canadian money order, cash, or cheque. Please note that all cheques must clear prior to work starting on custom orders.

    GST (5%) will be added to all Canadian orders. Alberta does not have a provincial sales tax.
  3. How is my order shipped, and how much will it cost?
    All orders are shipped via Canada Post, unless otherwise requested. Additional fees for alternate or expedited shipping may apply, please contact us for details.

    Shipping fees are $5 for the first item, and $2 for each additional item.

    Estimated shipping times once the shipment has been received by Canada Post are as follows:
    Canada: approximately 7-8 days
    USA: approximately 10-14 days
    UK: approximately 10-14 days
    Other Countries: approximately 14-21 days
    As each item is custom made, please allow for an additional 7-14 days for your items to be crafted. If more than one item is ordered, the shipment will go out once all items of the order are complete.

    NNN is not responsible for packages once they have entered the postal system. Tracking numbers (where available) will be sent via e-mail with a notification when your item has been shipped. If your package does not arrive in a timely manner, please contact us as we may be able to have Canada Post track it down.
  4. Do you sell wholesale?
    We do not sell wholesale at the present time.
  5. Where are your products sold?
    NNN is looking into setting up booths at some Calgary area events / locations in the coming year. Details, when available, will be posted on the home page.
  6. What is your return policy?
    Each item is custom made for you and your dog, and as such, all sales are final. If you note a defect in construction upon initial receipt and inspection of your item, please contact us to arrange for an exchange or refund for the unused and unworn item.
  7. Do you donate to rescues and dog-related organizations?
    Nearly Naked strongly believes in animal rescue, and donates 10% of sales to various rescue and dog-related groups. Upon check-out customers will be prompted to make their selection of which organization or group that they would like to help support (from the list of approved rescues and groups). If you are a rescue organization or dog-related group that is interested in joining the list to be eligible for donations, please contact us for details. In exchange for 10% donation (on selected sales), we ask only for a reciprocal link on your organization or group website. We will support and promote you, if you help support and promote us.

    As NNN is just getting up and running, we can only accommodate a few requests for collar donations to registered dog rescue groups or organizations. Please contact us to see if we are able to meet your rescue’s request. You will need to supply the following information using our contact form:
    • Your name and contact information, including e-mail address and mailing address where the donated item is to be shipped
    • The name and website of the organization that you are representing
    • The 501(c)3 tax exempt number (if available)
    • A description of the item(s) you are requesting (i.e., collar style, size, width etc.)
    • The timeframe that you need the item by (i.e., name, location, and date of event)
    • The intended use of the donated item (i.e., raffle item)
    • Any additional information that you wish to provide

  8. What do I need to know about the care of my collars?
    It is strongly recommended that NNN collars and leashes only be washed in cold water with a mild detergent; either by hand or in a tied pillowcase or lingerie bag on the delicate cycle of a washing machine. Lay flat to dry. Does not use bleach. Do not place in dryer. Do not dry clean. Do not iron.

    Like any garment, normal wear and tear is expected. Some of the more delicate trims may not wear as well if your dog is really rough and tumble or scratches excessively. To preserve the life of your NNN collar, rotate between multiple collars, or use a separate tag collar for regular wear, and your NNN collar for outings. If the trim begins to fray, you may cut the strands close to the trim and then very quickly run a lighter over the area to heat-seal the threads. The trim may scorch if held under a flame for too long.

    NNN will only replace an unused collar if they have a manufacturing defect that is noted upon receipt of the item, not if it is misused, exposed to excessive wear and tear, or is chewed. It falls upon the consumer to regularly inspect their collar for wear and tear, and replace a damaged collar.

    Martingale collars are not suitable for tie-outs and should only be worn under supervision. It is advisable to remove your dogs’ collar before placing them in a crate or pen to reduce choking hazard.
  9. How do I know what size of collar to order?
    Please ensure that you measure your dog with a soft measuring tape or length of string for a proper fit, prior to placing your order. Measure the mid-part of the neck where the collar will sit. For martingale collars you should also measure the widest part of your dogs head, just before the ears as well as then narrowest part of the neck just behind the ears.

    It is recommended that you order a collar size where your dogs’ measurement lies closest to the middle. If your dogs’ measurement is outside of the range of collar sizes listed, please contact us to see if we can make you a custom size.
